EVOSTA 2 is an electronic wet rotor circulator designed for water recirculation in heating and air conditioning systems for domestic and residential use. It features a permanent magnet synchronous motor and inverter electronics that automatically adapt performance to system requirements, allowing energy savings and protection against water hammer. It is ideal for replacing old three-speed circulators thanks both to its compact dimensions and to the completeness of its performance. It combines the robustness of a mechanical circulator with the advantages of an electronic one.
It is easy to configure: a sequential button allows you to scroll through the nine operating modes, three proportional pressure modes, three constant pressure modes, and three constant speed modes. All models feature a vent plug and allow manual release of the motor shaft.
The included anti-limescale cartridge keeps the motor shaft in perfect condition, preventing the normal formation of limescale that may be generated inside the circulator if air bubbles are present during first installation.
Pump body in cast iron with cataphoresis treatment and wet rotor motor. Threaded suction and discharge ports. Steel motor casing, technopolymer impeller. Ceramic motor shaft mounted on ceramic bushings lubricated by the pumped liquid. Rotor sleeve, stator sleeve and closing flange in stainless steel. Graphite thrust ring. EPDM sealing rings and brass air vent plug. Thanks to the internal motor protection, the pump does not require any overload protection. Water-resistant electronics with IPX5 protection rating.
The EVOSTA 2 functions can be modified through the control panel located on the cover of the electronic control device. The pump features nine setting options that can be selected with the MODE button. The pump settings are indicated by six illuminated segments on the display.
