Application:
The entire series is designed for use with fluids classified under Article 13, paragraph 1, letter b, of Directive PED 2014/68/EU as belonging to Group 2, meaning non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-explosive fluids. This macro group also includes refrigerant fluids belonging to Group A1. The entire production range includes normally closed valves, meaning the valve opens when the coil is energized.
Construction:
The body and flange are made of hot-forged brass EN 12420 – CW617N, with sealing ensured by a special HNBR compound gasket. The valve tube is made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 305 – 1.4303 and houses fixed and mobile cores made of ferritic stainless steel AISI 430F – 1.4105. The internal reaction springs are made of austenitic stainless steel AISI 301. EPDM sealing rings, placed above and below the coil, ensure perfect insulation from oxidizing agents. The solder connections in the ODS models are made with copper tubing EN 12735-1 – Cu-DHP.
