Description:
EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO®, the new range of EFFEBI crimped copper fittings, was created to pursue and strengthen our mission.
EFFEBI-PRESS® UNICO® is a fitting system suitable for use in the construction of domestic methane LPG systems and sanitary heating water systems. UNICO® is the universal fitting with double marking Yellow (GAS) and Blue (WATER). The UNICO® series, suitable for both gas and water systems, consists of crimped copper-copper and bronze-copper fittings. A complete range of intermediate fittings including 20 types of copper-copper crimped fittings from diameter 12 to 54 mm and threaded bronze-copper crimped fittings from Ø12 mm – 3/8 to Ø54 mm – 2. The UNICO® series fittings meet the requirements specified by UNI EN 11065 for class 1 (water application) and 2 (gas application) and are characterized by the double marking in Yellow and Blue. The threaded connections to other systems are made with threaded bronze parts with a crimped end. The male threads comply with UNI EN 10226 standards.

The special gasket is characterized by chemical-physical performance capable of meeting hygiene and non-toxicity requirements necessary for contact with drinking water. The material it is made of conforms to both EN 681-1 (water applications) and EN 549 (gas applications).
