Descrizione
Waterproof butyl tape coated with aluminum foil is designed for sealing joints, cracks and penetrations where a combination of adhesion, flexibility and barrier surface protection is required. The butyl layer adapts to the unevenness of the substrate and the aluminum foil increases the surface resistance to mechanical stress and moisture. The tape is suitable for general construction applications and repairs where quick and clean sealing is required without the use of wet sealants.

Functions and features
Waterproof sealing of joints and cracks with proper substrate preparation and pressure
Aluminum foil as a protective layer increasing the surface’s resistance to abrasion and scratching
Flexible design allows adaptation to common unevenness of the substrate
High adhesion to many common building materials
Suitable for applications where resistance to moisture and weathering is required
Ideal for
Sealing cracks and joints in building structures
Repairs and sealing around window details and structural connections
Sealing penetrations and joints around pipes and sheet metal elements
Application to substrates such as concrete, ceramic tiles, glass and other common surfaces depending on substrate compatibility
Package contents
1x roll of butyl tape with aluminum foil (thickness according to the selected variant)
Why choose this product?
Combination of butyl sealing layer and aluminum foil for simultaneous sealing and mechanical surface protection
Possibility to choose the thickness according to the required degree of joint filling and mechanical resistance
Suitable solution for quick repairs without technological breaks typical of sealant curing
Practical use indoors and outdoors when the substrate is properly prepared
Installation and operating instructions
The substrate must be solid, dry, clean and degreased; loose layers must be removed
Apply the tape with sufficient overlap over the joint or crack and press evenly over the entire area.
For intricate details, shape the tape gradually and avoid creating air pockets.
Before using on a large area, we recommend verifying adhesion on a specific substrate by conducting a test application.
